Caracas, Maine is a bustling city. The buildings are all modern and seem to tower to the sky. The city never seem to sleep and is just as active in the night time as the daytime. People move about their business while stray dogs roam the streets as well. Most just are trying to get by, while others have formed packs to rule certain areas and claim their territories.

However, what the human's don't know is that the water had gotten contaminated with a mysterious contagion that caused the canines to become mutated. While this contagion doesn't seem to effect the humans, the canines however have become completely different genetically. Some suspect an old laboratory that sits high in the mountains that seemed to have had a 'meltdown' a few years ago. Others think perhaps it was the government deliberately testing the humans that live in the city as a controlled site...but no one has the slightest clue on the truth and where it actually came from.

Canines and humans live side by side in harmony for now. But whose to say that down the road something more sinister might be brewing? And will that harmony last for a long time or shatter instantly? Come nad find out!
